Hello!
I’m Bjorna, a natural light, Published lifestyle photographer from The Netherlands and living in beautiful, sunny Southern California (LA area). My passion is to photograph the real and authentic moments. I want to capture the real smiles and laughs, the real ‘I love you looks’, your real life, the real you. I will capture those in between moments that you don’t want to forget, those little details about your kids that you want to keep forever.
Memories captured that you will show your kids when they are older, what a normal day looked like back then, diaper changes, playing in the park, bath time, maybe their first bath as a newborn, morning rituals, your son/daughter playing with his or her favorite toy, those first few overwhelming but beautiful weeks with your new baby or the last weeks before your new little love arrives, life before baby, or just you and your partner being crazy in love having a coffee at the coffee place where you two met.
A little more about me, I’m a Dutch (born and raised) wife and mom to two wonderful kiddos, a 4yr old girl and a 2yr old little boy. A photographer and birth doula.
Families, especially new families, different cultures, birth and adoption, intrigue me. My heart gets happy from spending time with my kids, the ocean/beach, drawing, art, sunshine, being in nature, snuggling, good conversations with friends, family, beautiful light and photography. Photography is my creative outlet. It makes my heart happy and calm. I mostly follow my kids around with my camera, photography helps me see the little things in life, the things that makes life so beautiful, those little ordinary moments in everyday life that don’t look special at first, it forces me to slow down and enjoy our life together even more .
